Short answer: between 4 and 8 days for the classic route. Four or five days cover one part of the country with the internal flights included. Seven or eight cover the route agencies sell most: Istanbul, Cappadocia, Ephesus and Pamukkale. From ten days on, the coast comes in.
This guide is written for agencies, not for travellers. The figures below are public selling prices, per person in a double or triple room. Your agency rate for the same route is on the tariff sheet.
Three things decide the length, not one
The international flight. From Latin America the journey eats two days, one out and one back. A client with ten days of holiday has eight on the ground, not ten. It helps to count days on the ground from the first conversation.
What the client has already decided to see. If they arrive saying “I want the balloons in Cappadocia”, the minimum changes. If they arrive saying “I want to see Turkey”, the route sets the minimum.
Whether they have already booked something. Many clients arrive with their flights and their Istanbul hotel already paid for. That client does not need a full circuit; they need an add-on.

The last two do not include Istanbul: they are built for the client who has already sorted Istanbul out on their own.
One night in Cappadocia means one sunrise. Two nights mean two chances: if the balloon flight is cancelled for wind on the first morning, the second one is still there. That is the difference between 1,122 and 1,203 USD, and it is worth explaining before the client chooses.
7 to 8 days · the route that sells most
Istanbul, Cappadocia, Ephesus and Pamukkale. This is the circuit most agencies sell and the one most clients already have in mind when they say “I want to see Turkey”.

The difference between them is the second night in Cappadocia. For 106 USD the client gains a full day in the valleys and a second balloon window.
10 to 15 days · when the client wants the coast

The two ten-day routes cost almost the same and are different trips: one adds Istanbul, the other adds coast. The question that settles it is whether the client would rather have city or sea.
How to decide it on the first call
Three questions usually settle it:
- How many days off do they have, counting the flights? If they say ten, they have eight on the ground.
- Is Istanbul already booked? If yes, look at the add-ons and at the 4 to 5 day routes without Istanbul.
- Do they want a beach? If yes, the conversation starts at 10 days.
What does not change with the length
- Maximum 18 travellers plus the guide, in a Sprinter van. Never a large coach.
- Entrance fees are passed on at cost, with no markup from us.
- The Istanbul days are free by design. The client sets their own pace in the old city; a private guide is quoted separately if they ask for one.
- One closed USD price, the same on every one of our channels. Your client never finds the same route cheaper somewhere else.
Frequently asked questions
What is a sensible minimum for a first trip to Turkey?
Five days on the ground. With less you can still sell an add-on on top of a stay the client already has, but not a circuit with internal flights.
How many days are needed for Cappadocia and the Aegean coast?
Seven or eight, and that includes Istanbul as well. Without Istanbul, four or five days are enough for Cappadocia, Ephesus and Pamukkale.
Are internal flights included?
On the short routes and the full circuits, yes, with checked baggage. International flights are never included.
Can a route be extended with free days in Istanbul?
Yes. The ten-day circuit is exactly that: the classic route with three extra nights in Istanbul.
