Your journey begins with an early morning pick-up from your Istanbul hotel, followed by a scenic drive through the countryside towards the Gallipoli Peninsula. Along the way, your guide will share background stories of the Gallipoli Campaign, setting the stage for the day ahead.
The first stop is ANZAC Cove, the historic landing site of the ANZAC troops in 1915. Standing on the same shores, you’ll hear moving accounts of the soldiers’ bravery and sacrifice. From there, the tour continues to Lone Pine Cemetery, the Australian memorial, and Chunuk Bair, the New Zealand memorial with panoramic views of the Dardanelles.
As you travel across the battlefields, you’ll explore sites such as Brighton Beach, The Nek, and Johnston’s Jolly, where original trenches still remain. The visit to the Kabatepe Museum provides further insight with artifacts, photographs, and documents from the campaign.
A lunch break at a local restaurant is included during the day, offering a chance to rest and reflect.
In the late afternoon, begin the return journey to Istanbul. By evening, you’ll arrive back at your hotel, carrying with you powerful memories of a day spent honoring history and remembrance at Gallipoli.
