Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Athens

Upon arrival at Athens International Airport (ATH), you will be met by a representative and transferred privately to your hotel. After completing the check-in formalities, the remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. You can choose to settle in and relax after your flight or take a gentle first walk to familiarize yourself with the area around your hotel.

Day 2 - Athens City Tour & Cape Sounion Excursion (with Lunch)

After breakfast, you will join a comprehensive guided city tour of Athens. This tour offers a fascinating insight into the striking contrasts that define the city, from ancient monuments to modern architecture.

  • Morning Sightseeing: You will visit the Panathenaic Stadium, site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896 (short stop), and pass by notable landmarks such as the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier, and the impressive academic trilogy (Academy, University, National Library), concluding at Syntagma Square.
  • Acropolis: The highlight of the morning is the visit to the Acropolis, where you will explore the masterpieces of classical architecture: The Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, Erechtheion, and the iconic Parthenon.

Day 3 - One-Day Cruise to the Saronic Islands (Hydra, Poros & Aegina)

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the port to embark on a full-day cruise to the charming Saronic Islands. A delicious lunch is served on board the cruise ship.

  • Hydra: The first stop (approx. one hour) is the picturesque island of Hydra, known for its traditional stone houses and vibrant harbor where transport is mainly provided by donkeys.
  • Poros: You will continue to Poros (approx. one hour) for free time to admire the quaint town and enjoy the serene sea views from the town clock tower.
  • Aegina: The final island stop is Aegina (approx. 1.5 hours), where you have the option to take an excursion to the Temple of Aphaia (extra cost) or relax and enjoy swimming at one of the local beaches near the port.
  • Return: In the late afternoon, you will return to the port and be transferred back to your hotel in Athens.
  • Overnight: Athens. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 4 - Free Day in Athens

Breakfast at the hotel. Today is a full day at leisure, providing you with the opportunity to discover Athens at your own pace. You may use this day to explore neighborhoods such as Plaka (the historic center), Monastiraki (famous for its flea market), or the upscale Kolonaki. Alternatively, you could visit additional museums like the National Archaeological Museum, go shopping for souvenirs, or simply enjoy a relaxing coffee break at a traditional kafeneio.

Day 5 - Departure from Athens

After breakfast, you will check out from the hotel. You will be met and transferred privately to Athens International Airport for your departure flight.
