Your journey begins with an early morning departure from Istanbul, driving along the scenic route towards the Gallipoli Peninsula.
Spend the day visiting the most moving sites of the Gallipoli Campaign:
•ANZAC Cove – the landing site of the ANZAC troops.
•Lone Pine Cemetery – the Australian memorial.
•Chunuk Bair Memorial – dedicated to New Zealand soldiers with sweeping views of the Dardanelles.
•Walk through the preserved trenches at Johnston’s Jolly and visit The Nek and Brighton Beach.
•End the battlefield experience at the Kabatepe Museum, which houses relics and personal items from 1915.
In the evening, cross the Dardanelles by ferry and check in to your hotel in Çanakkale for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, travel to the ancient city of Troy, where myth and history meet. Explore the archaeological site with its nine layers of civilization, walk along the city walls, and see the replica of the Trojan Horse that recalls Homer’s Iliad.
Continue your journey south to Pergamon, once a flourishing center of art, politics, and medicine. Highlights include:
•The Acropolis of Pergamon, with its steep theater and commanding views.
•The Asklepion, one of the ancient world’s most renowned healing centers.
In the late afternoon, drive to Kuşadası or Selçuk, where you will check in to your hotel and rest for the night — ready for your next adventure in Ephesus or Pamukkale.
After breakfast, set out for a guided tour of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the world. Walk along the marble streets and visit highlights such as the Library of Celsus, the Great Theater, and Hadrian’s Temple.
The tour also includes a visit to the House of the Virgin Mary, a sacred site for pilgrims, and the remains of the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
In the evening, you may choose to return to Istanbul with arranged transfer, or end the tour in Kuşadası/Selçuk, ready for further exploration of the Aegean.
