Welcome to Istanbul Turkey!. Our driver welcome you at the exit gate with sign written on board then transfer you to your Istanbul hotel. Today is your free day to explore the city or take a rest. You will stay at your Istanbul hotel.
Your day begins as your guide meets you at the hotel lobby between 08:30 – 09:00 am. A short walk brings you into the heart of Istanbul’s Old City, where centuries of history await.
The first stop is the Hagia Sophia, a masterpiece that has witnessed the rise and fall of empires. Inside, golden mosaics and soaring domes tell stories of both Byzantine emperors and Ottoman sultans. Just steps away, the elegant Blue Mosque welcomes you with its shimmering İznik tiles and tranquil atmosphere.
As you continue, you’ll arrive at the Hippodrome, once the center of Constantinople’s public life. Here, ancient monuments such as the Egyptian Obelisk and the German Fountain still stand as silent witnesses of imperial celebrations and fierce chariot races.
After a leisurely break, the tour leads you to the Grand Bazaar — a labyrinth of more than 4,000 shops where colors, scents, and voices fill the air. From handwoven carpets to glittering jewelry and fragrant spices, it’s the perfect place to experience Istanbul’s vibrant soul.
In the late afternoon, your guide will escort you back to your hotel, carrying with you not only souvenirs but also the spirit of a city where East meets West.
Optional: A visit to Topkapı Palace can be added to your day for those who wish to explore the opulent residence of Ottoman sultans.
Your day begins as your guide welcomes you in the hotel lobby between 08:30 – 09:00 am. Soon, you find yourself stepping into the mysterious depths of the Basilica Cistern, where rows of marble columns rise from the water and the famous Medusa heads hide in the shadows. It feels like entering another world beneath the city.
Back above ground, the air fills with rich aromas as you wander through the Spice Bazaar. Here, colorful stalls overflow with saffron, Turkish delights, dried fruits, and teas — a feast for all the senses.
From the bustling marketplace, you head to the waterfront for a Bosphorus Cruise. As the boat glides between Europe and Asia, you admire elegant palaces, wooden mansions, and mosques dotting the shoreline. The sea breeze and the city’s skyline create an unforgettable panorama.
In the afternoon, you make your way to the Galata Tower, rising proudly over the Golden Horn. Climb to the top for sweeping views of Istanbul — domes, minarets, and the endless blue of the Bosphorus stretching before you.
As the day comes to an end, your guide escorts you back to your hotel, leaving you with vivid memories of Istanbul’s contrasts: the hidden and the open, the old and the new, Europe and Asia.
Optional: Extend your journey with a visit to the Dolmabahçe Palace, the 19th-century Ottoman residence renowned for its grandeur and crystal chandeliers.
