Cairo and Upper Egypt (Nile Cruise) 9 Days / 8 Nights

Begin your Egyptian adventure with a warm meet-and-assist service upon arrival at Cairo International Airport (CAI). An appointed representative will guide you efficiently through all arrival formalities. Following this, you will be escorted in a private vehicle to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax and settle in, preparing for the cultural treasures ahead. An optional dinner cruise on the Nile, complete with Oriental shows, is available to start your trip with flair.

• Overnight: Cairo. (Optional Dinner Cruise)

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a full-day guided tour of Cairo’s most famous landmarks. You will visit the majestic Pyramids of Giza, the enigmatic Sphinx, and the highly anticipated Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), home to thousands of priceless artifacts. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon.

• Overnight: Cairo (BB).

Check-out after breakfast and transfer to Cairo Airport for your domestic flight to Aswan (flight cost excluded). Upon arrival in Aswan, you will be met, assisted, and transferred to your 5-star Nile cruise ship for embarkation.

• Afternoon Tour: Visit the beautiful island temple of Philae and the modern engineering marvel of the High Dam.
• Nile Experience: Enjoy lunch on board. In the afternoon, take a relaxing Felucca Ride on the Nile, viewing the scenery and local life.
• Dinner & Overnight: On board the ship in Aswan. (Full Board – FB).

Enjoy breakfast on board. The morning offers the possibility to take the optional excursion by bus to visit the magnificent rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel (cost excluded).

• Leisure: If you choose not to visit Abu Simbel, the morning is free. The group visiting Abu Simbel returns around 2 PM. Late lunch is served on board.
• Evening: The remainder of the afternoon is free for leisure in Aswan. Dinner and overnight stay remain on the ship.
• Overnight: On board in Aswan (FB).

After breakfast, the ship sets sail north.

• Kom Ombo: Visit the unique temple shared by two gods, Sobek (the crocodile god) and Haroeris (the falcon god).
• Edfu: Sail to Edfu and visit the remarkably well-preserved Temple of Horus (often reached by horse-drawn carriage).
• Sailing: Continue sailing to Luxor. All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) are served on board.
• Overnight: On board, sailing towards Luxor (FB).

The day is dedicated to exploring the magnificent sites of ancient Thebes (Luxor).

• Morning (West Bank): Visit the Valley of the Kings, the necropolis of the Pharaohs, the impressive funerary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the giant Colossi of Memnon.
• Lunch: Return to the ship for lunch on board.
• Afternoon (East Bank): Visit the awe-inspiring Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious structure ever built, and the beautiful Luxor Temple, located close to the city center.
• Overnight: On board the ship in Luxor (FB).

Disembarkation after breakfast from the cruise ship. You will be transferred to your hotel, (Steigenberger\ Nile\ Palace\ Luxor) or (Sonesta\ Luxor) (or similar). After check-in, the rest of the day is free for you to relax, perhaps enjoy the hotel facilities, or explore Luxor city center at your own pace.

• Overnight: Luxor (BB).

Check-out after breakfast (or based on flight time) and transfer to Luxor Airport for your domestic flight back to Cairo (flight cost excluded).

• Afternoon Tour: Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be met and immediately transferred to the Sakkara area to visit the historical site and the Step Pyramid.
• Check-in: After the visit, transfer to $Steigenberger\ Hotel\ El\ Tahrir\ Cairo$ (or similar) for check-in and overnight stay.
• Overnight: Cairo (BB).

Enjoy a final breakfast at your hotel before your private transfer to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight. You will depart with unforgettable memories of Egypt’s ancient wonders and vibrant cultural mosaic.
