Who it suits. Clients who have already done Sultanahmet, and repeat visitors who think they have seen Istanbul. It also pairs with our Imperial Istanbul day to make a complete two-day city programme.

Itinerary

  1. Dolmabahçe Palace

    • The European palace of the last sultans · the four-tonne crystal chandelier and the room where Atatürk died
    • Entrance included
    • ⚠️ Dolmabahçe closes on Mondays. Our first move is to shift your client’s day to another date, because the palace is worth it. If the dates leave no room, we swap in the Basilica Cistern, which opens every day, and the rest of the day is unchanged · same price
  2. Bosphorus cruise

    • Two hours sailing between Europe and Asia, past the palaces, the fortresses and the old wooden waterfront houses
    • Regular scheduled boat, not a private charter · the guide is on board explaining what passes. A private boat can be quoted if your client wants one
  3. Taksim Square and İstiklal Avenue

    • Up by funicular from Kabataş, then down on foot along the busiest avenue in the city · its arcades, its churches and the red tram
  4. Galata Tower and Karaköy

    • The fourteenth-century Genoese tower seen from the square, then the cafés and galleries of the neighbourhood at dusk
    • Optional: going up the tower, paid separately · the guide arranges it

What is included?

  • Licensed local guide in Spanish or English, private, for the whole day
  • Entrance to Dolmabahçe Palace
  • Two-hour Bosphorus cruise
  • The day’s public transport · tram and funicular
  • Pick-up from and return to your client’s hotel

What is excluded?

  • Lunch · left out so your client chooses where to eat. There are good places in Karaköy and behind İstiklal, and the guide points them out
  • Going up the Galata Tower · optional, paid separately, the guide arranges the ticket
  • Tips and personal expenses
  • Hotel, flights and anything outside the day itself

Frequently asked questions

How does the pricing work for agencies?

The guide is private, so the cost is per group and the per-person price falls as the group grows: 323 USD for one traveller, 201 each for two, 160 for three, 140 for four and 119 for six. Every figure is a public selling price · the same one your client would be quoted. Request the tariff sheet for the net rates.

Is the guide really fluent in Spanish?

Yes. Licensed Istanbul guides who speak fluent Spanish, not translators and not audio guides. English is equally available.

How do you move around without a private vehicle?

On foot, by tram and by funicular, which in this part of the city is faster than a car: traffic between Beşiktaş and Taksim can cost forty minutes, and the Kabataş funicular does it in three. The tickets are included.

What if my client's day falls on a Monday?

Dolmabahçe closes on Mondays. Our first move is to shift the day to another date, because the palace is the anchor of this tour. If your client's dates leave no room, we swap in the Basilica Cistern, which opens every day, and the rest of the programme is unchanged at the same price.

Is the Bosphorus cruise private?

No, it is a regular scheduled boat with frequent departures, and it works well: the guide is on board with your client explaining what they are looking at. If they want a private boat, we quote it separately.

Can we sell this together with the Sultanahmet day?

Yes, and it is the natural pair: this day and the Imperial Istanbul day together cover the city properly. Book them as the two-day programme and your client keeps the same guide on both days, so the second morning starts where the first left off instead of repeating introductions, and we choose the order of the two days around the closures (Topkapı on Tuesdays, Dolmabahçe on Mondays). The price is the same as the two days bought separately · the gain is continuity, not a discount.

Is lunch included?

No, so your client can choose. There are good places in Karaköy and in the streets behind İstiklal, and the guide tells them which.

Do you invoice in my agency's name?

Yes. We invoice the agency, not the end client, and your client never sees our net rate.
